Competent Toastmaster (CTM) Award

New members receive the Communications and Leadership manual which features 10 speeches covering basic speech techniques.  Members who complete these 10 speeches qualify as a Competent Toastmaster (CTM).

5.      Your Body Speaks

7.      Research Your Topic

8.      Get comfortable with Visual Aids

9.      Persuade with Power

10.  Inspire your audience

Many Toastmasters choose to complete an additional CTM, sometimes at the rate of one a year, since the skills learned form the basic building block for effective public speaking.
