Listening skills are important to
good communication. The Quizmaster's role is to ensure that
members are listening throughout the meeting. The Quizmaster will
pose questions during the evaluation phase of the meeting.
During the meeting:
-
When called on by the General
Evaluator, stand up and pose your questions.
-
Try to ask as many questions as
possible during the time assigned about the meeting segments e.g. each
speech, toast, joke... If the members can answer your questions,
it's a good sign that they've been listening throughout the meeting.
